What is the use of a hydroforming machine?

Hydroforming machine (aka: hydraulic press) Hydraulic forming machine is a machine that uses liquid static pressure to process metal, plastic, rubber, wood, powder and other products. It is commonly used in pressing processes and press forming processes such as forging, stamping, cold extrusion, straightening, bending, flanging, sheet drawing, powder metallurgy, press fitting, and the like. Its principle is that there are many kinds of machines made by using Pascal's law to use liquid pressure transmission. Of course, the use is also varied according to needs. For example, according to the type of liquid that transmits pressure, there are two types of hydraulic presses and hydraulic presses. The hydraulic press produces a large total pressure and is often used for forging and stamping. Forging hydraulic presses are divided into die forging hydraulic presses and free forging hydraulic presses. The die forging hydraulic press uses a mold, while the free forging hydraulic press does not use a mold. The first 10,000-ton hydraulic press manufactured in China is a free-forging hydraulic press.

In 1795, J. Brammer of the United Kingdom applied the Pascal principle to invent a hydraulic press for packaging and pressing vegetable oil. By the middle of the 19th century, the British began to use hydraulic presses for forging, and hydraulic presses gradually replaced super-large steam forging hammers. By the end of the 19th century, the United States made a 126,000 kN free forging hydraulic press. Since then, the world has produced more than 20 sets of 100,000-kilogram free forging hydraulic presses, of which 2 are made in China (see color map). With the emergence and improvement of electric high-pressure pumps, forging hydraulic presses are also moving towards smaller tonnages. After the 1950s, a small fast forging hydraulic press was introduced, which was able to perform the work equivalent to a 30 to 50 kN forging hammer. In the 1940s, Germany made a giant forging hydraulic press with a capacity of 180,000 kN. Since then, the world has produced 18 sets of die forging hydraulic presses with a capacity of more than 180,000 kN, of which 300,000 in China.

A hydroforming machine is a machine that uses liquid as a working medium and is based on the Pascal principle to transfer energy to achieve various processes. The hydroforming machine generally consists of three parts: the machine (main unit), the power system and the hydraulic control system. Hydraulic forming machines are classified into valve hydraulic forming machines, liquid hydraulic forming machines, and engineering hydraulic forming machines.

A hydroforming machine is a machine that uses liquid as a working medium to transfer energy to achieve various processes. In addition to forging forming, hydroforming machines can also be used for correction, press fitting, packing, briquetting and pressing. Hydraulic forming machines include hydraulic presses and hydraulic presses. A water-based liquid is used as a working medium, which is called a hydraulic press, and an oil as a working medium is called a hydraulic press. The specifications of hydroforming machines are generally expressed in terms of nominal working force (kilograms) or nominal tonnage (tons). The hydraulic forming machine for forging is mostly a hydraulic press with a high tonnage. In order to reduce the size of the equipment, large forging hydraulic presses usually use higher pressure (about 35 MPa), and sometimes use ultra high pressure of 100 MPa or more. Hydroforming machines for other applications typically use a working pressure of 6 to 25 MPa. The hydraulic press has a lower tonnage than a hydraulic press.
